EMER CASEY LONDON 10K - 28 OCTOBER 2012
Thank you to everybody who was in anyway involved with the 2012 race, whether you ran or helped on the day, and especially to the Florence in Herne Hill for sponsoring the event and providing a convivial atmosphere afterwards. A total of 109 finished the 10K course and the final results are now available here - many thanks to anybody who has emailed with any corrections; we aim to make the results as accurate as possible and the provisional results have been updated accordingly.
Two items of lost property were also found: a light grey Regatta waterproof jacket, size 42 and a Oystercard. If you have lost either of these items, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can return the items to you.
What a marvellous summer of sport it has been! The weather may have been foul at times, but the spectacle of London hosting the greatest sporting carnival in the world and the ubiquitous London 2012 logo as been simply fantastic. And having fasted for just over two weeks since the happy and glorious Olympic Games concluded, London is once again about to feast on another celebration of sporting endeavour as the Paralympics open and the capital again welcomes the world.
If you have been inspired by the Olympics, why not take up the challenge presented by the Emer Casey London 10K in Brockwell Park on Sunday 28 October 2012 at 11.00am. Now in its fourth year, the race is organised by the Emer Casey Foundation in conjucntion with Herne Hill Harriers and the race continues grow year on year.
Entries are now open - you can enter online at www.runnersworld.co.uk/emercaseylondon10k. The entry fee is £12 for club runners and £14 for runners who are not affiliated to a club. Entries will be accepted on the day provided that the entry limit of 250 has not been reached.
Changing and baggage storage facilities will be available. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 men, the first 3 women, the first man over the age of 40 outside of the top 3 and the first woman over the age of 35 outside the top 3. Spot prizes will also be presented. Every finisher will receive a medal.

Even if you don't fancy the challenge presented by undulating course in Brockwell Park, why not volunteer to help out on the day? Every event needs its volunteers - just look how the thousands of Games Makers helped to make London 2012 the most successful Olympic Games ever! 2011 RACE RESULTS
Thank you to everybody who took part in the Emer Casey Memorial London 10K on Sunday 30 October 2011 in Brockwell Park. We received a record number of entries and, therefore, a record number finished the new revised course as well. A huge thank you must also go to all marshals and volunteers who gave up their time to make sure the event ran smoothly as well as CMC Consulting (www.cmcconsulting.co.uk) for generously sponsoring this year's prizes.
The men's race was won by Paolo Natali in 32 minutes and 22 seconds and Silvia Del Flava made it an Italian double when winning the women's race in 37 minutes and 41 seconds. Herne Hill Harriers took the team prizes in the men's and women's races.
